cure for cancer?...
Ok, here it is. It's as good as you think it will be.
First of all, I'll ask the big question and please answer either "no" or "temporarily" (no yes allowed).
Do you have cancer?
If you said no, then read out of curiosity.
If you said temporarily, then you have cancer in your body. "You" do not have cancer, cancer is in your body.
You are not an individual. You are made up of many trillions of separate living things; many different kinds of cells and their living parts, organelles, etc., etc., etc.
What controls all of these living things that make you up is a complicated matter. The brain does not control everything, and it is not the sole cure for cancer, and in fact it can be the cause of cancer; as in thoughts like "I can quit smoking any time I want" or " a few beers a day won't hurt me", or being in a constant state of depression, etc., etc., etc. (hint: asking "god" to cure it is also in the brain...though prayer can be like mantra or meditation if one gets past the mythical diety thing). The mini universe of cells is also not controlled by DNA or any mechanical blueprint, but rather respond to environmental condtions, stress, diet, repetitive activity like sitting or running everyday, along with mental attitudes, beliefs, and thought habits, etc., etc., etc..
So, if the brain is not totally in charge how does one go about making big changes or dealing with cancer then?
Calm the mind and take care of the body. Visualisation is good because it calms the active mind and sooths stress rather than engaging in the wild and complex activity that usually goes on in the mind, while driving a car and talking on the phone for example.
The simple act of feeling, not just thinking, that your body temporarily has cancer in the system, instead of the typical "You have cancer", etc., can make big changes.
People all over the world have had cancer and no longer do so.
There is no particular way it will come and go.
Just let it go.
Ok?
Sounds crazy, simple minded, and outrageous, or maybe just new agey nuts?
Just find your own way of seeing and feeling that you are made up of a complex universe of cells all doing their own thing without the mind making them do it, like healing a cut, and watch what you feed it, what you do to it, and how you feel about it, etc., etc., and maybe sometimes just be a little in awe of the little amoeba-like entities that comprise the thing you call "you".
Be well and best wishes.
(the above was an internet post I did one day for fun.  it recieved good response and seemed to resonate well with many)
